I'm nearing the end of my blog tour and one of the things I'm blogging about is humor in books. I always include humor in my stories since I believe any genre can benefit from a touch of humor, even dark paranormals or thrillers, if it's tailored to the book. What do you think? I would love some opinions.

My favorite kind of book is one that makes me laugh. The genre of the book does not matter, as long as the humor is appropriately placed. My favorite type of humor in a book is sarcastic and witty dialog between characters. Dialog can make or break a book.

I'm with you, Sheri. Any genre needs some appropriate humor. I love witty dialog, too, and I love a dry sense of humor. Happy Thanksgiving!
