Do you think the third book in the Perfect Chemistry series is too much?

Maybe because there is a book for the first two Fuentes brothers, that Simone Elkeles thought she had to write a third book, but I think that the third book is just boring and old. Its too much the same as the first two. I really like the series, but the third book is just a let down.

I thought the third one was better than the second one to be honest. However, I think she should have stopped after the first. I really loved Perfect Chemistry but I found the next two too repetitive.

Honestly, I spent the third book just waiting for more Alex, Britany and Paco scenes, haha.

The plots are repetitive, but I dunno, Elkeles knows how to write so that nobody gets too bored with her. I read the second one, then the first one, and I was like,"wow, why don't I hate this series and it's author?" And then I realize that this series is so hot and sexy and cool (go bad boys!) that I don't even mind. But I'm not going to lie, sometimes it's annoying.

The first two were better than the third in that they were more unpredictable. all in all the trilogy was great and i would love to see them on the big screen.

I don't think it was to much at all, it was like toppings on ice cream, you don't have to put them on but when you do it tastes all the much better :)

I loved them all, the first and third especially. I think the third was the perfect time to end since it tied up all the loose ends. And plus, Alex and Brittany got married! That alone tied up one huge thing from the first story!

No, I don't think the third book is too much because there should be a book about the last brother. It just makes more sense that way.

i think the 3rd book is a bit to much because the books have th esame plot but put into a different way. persanaly i diddnt finish the 3rd book ecause in the end luis would end up having kids with nikki soooo its the same thing as the 2 others.

I love these books !! Im glad that se wrote ALL of them. I love the work of Elkeles, her books are great for young adults such as myself. LOVE THEM!!

No I think that the series is a good book for young adults to read. Its a great romantic novel.

The third book for me was a let down.. after enjoying the second and the first book i realized i was getting tired of the same old plot..

The plot got repetitive by the second book, however I still loved the 2 other books!! I just love, love, love, Alex, Carlos and Luis. Those girls are pretty dang lucky to be with them ;)

Ok I've read the first book in the series and when to Amazon straight away to get the next two book but the third one is the only one i got, and i really want to read another one of these books.
Is it silly to read the third before the second???
or should i wait till i have the second and than go to the third??

I thought the third book was phenomenal. It threw some serious punches and kept people guessing. I mean I certainly didn't guess what was going to happen until the middle of the book.

Simone is bringing a world into light that a lot of people have either kept hushed or ignored. She deserves a lot of credit for that. She did her research well and wrote three gorgeous books from it! She deserves to be applauded.

They're going to be repetitive to some people, but life *IS* repetitive. People make the mistakes of the father or the brother. There is a reason that people say "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

i don't htink the third book is too much because it will tell us more about the two first main characters

i loved her series dont care if it was repetitive some but wat i want to read is their kids story i doubt it will have to deal with the gangs since it seems the problems ends with them but the ending chapters with all their kids certainly got my intrest peaked, kept making me imagine their stories.

I think the point of the books were suppose to be repetitive, in the falling in love with the unexpected bombshell respect. Other than that, the story lines weren't TOO repetitive. Carlos' story was different than the 1st n 3rd story, no question. He dealt with a lot less problems, his were more emotional issues. Since Alex and Luis were dealing with the same gang, it's expected for some stuff to be the same, but the characters are significantly different between the 1st n 3rd novel of the series which makes the 3rd novel it's own and not a repeat.

Overall, i don't think Elkeles went over the top with the 3rd novel. It summed the series up nicely and it had it's own flavor and twist which made it interesting. The only thing that was kind of out there was Nikki shooting Chuy. Now that was kind of odd and random. But all in all, great book and not over the top.
