I know I haven't won any because I haven't read any. I noticed every time I read one I win two more.

I have maybe won one book from GoodReads. However, most of my ARC's are from NetGalley. I'm greatful for the advances in technology that give me my Kindle and Nook. I also get a few from publishers. But nothing like what other people receive. I get maybe one a month. I'm broke as of late so I am hitting up the free ARC's until I have some extra cash for some real books. Last purchase was Beautiful Chaos. I'm a sucker for the dark gothic series!

I have a feeling that if I read mine I'll win a bunch too, but I'm moving soon, so I've been putting it off until then so if I do happen to win nothing gets stuck in the mail because I don't think the post office would want to forward books, haha.

Maybe I'll take a look over at Netgalley too. I love winning books. I don't know why but it's super exciting to me for some reason, haha. I use the ARC's as motivation to save money too. I'll see a book I want and then tell myself that I have to read whatever library books I happen to have and the ARC's before I read it.

I will have to check out NetGalley as well. I actually had a book that had the wrong address on the envelope so it took nearly 3 months for me to eventually get it.

I agree, reading before Christmas is difficult! There's just too much to do. I'm a third of the way through a book that my boyfriend's mother bought me a few months ago. I'm trying to finish it before we go to their house for the holidays, but I have last minute things to get done. And his dad is picking us up on Thursday. The book is also 560 pages. I really don't think I'm going to be able to finish it in time.

I agree. Before-Xmas reading is treacherous! My goal was to read 10 books this month, and to reach 80 for the year. Don't think that's going to happen. It doesn't help that my mom is trying to redo my room right now :(

Haha I just noticed this one where you said that you didn't want it to be stuck in the mail.

It is especially funny since I had one get stuck in the mail. They accidentally forgot a digit in my mailing address so it was floating around for close to 2 months in the mail. I had even let the author know that I never received it.

I have to update my pages/minutes for Jan. I have 11 books done so far. My computer yells at me and shuts down before I can update.

That's nuts that you had to go so far as to let the author know you hadn't got it! I had 2 get lost in the mail during the postal strike here in Canada. I had to email one publisher twice, to let her know I never got a book. I won the book in April, and I finally got it sometime in August I think. Then with the other book, I emailed the author and she asked if I was in Canada, and when I told her yes, she said that explained it because she had another winner in Canada who didnt' get theirs either.
