Rick-Founder JM CM BOOK CLUB | 2 comments As I live in S.Florida- I am a major Tebow fan!!! Not concerned about media- as I care not at all about their biases- everyone is entitled to their own beliefs,and the fact that Tebow is so very popular with millions of folks- seems to prove that most side with him. The fact that I am not Christian (Jewish here)- does not factor in at all- I have a strong sense of faith, and have enormous respect for ALL those who do- regardless of their religion- as I also have respect for those who are atheist and agnostic- live and let live I say!

Neriah Or how he thanks god in his speeches. I live in Denver, so of course Tim Tebow is the talk of the town. A local news channel talked about his faith and so many people were "offended" by it. So it's okay you know for people to thank them at award shows, but not at a football game? It's not like he's pushing his beliefs on others....he's simply living his own. Ridiculous.

I live in Loveland Neriah and I think he is a wonderful young man and if others are offended because he is not afraid to step out in faith then I agree that's their problem.

God sees everything, even football games.

Kristen What's going on?

2 Timothy 3:1-5
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, PROUD, BLASPHEMERS, disobedient to parents, unthankful, UNHOLY, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, DESPISERS OF THOSE THAT ARE GOOD, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD; Having a form of godliness, but DENYING THE POWER THEREOF: from such turn away.

(I only used caps for emphasis, not to yell...)

People who criticize Tim and other athletes who are outspoken with their Christian faith often mock them for suggesting they believe God takes sides in sporting contests. But that is not what these Christian athletes are saying. Of course God does not take sides for or against a particular team, except perhaps against the Raiders! ;)

But who can fault any athlete who claims God's promises in Isaiah 40:31?

But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

More power to Tim and those who do so. Tough luck to competitors who don't and go it alone.

Leah (lepolk) | 5 comments The media is against Tim Tebow simply because he has morals and actually sticks to them. They have nothing to report against him; therefore, they MUST come up with something.
