The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

I am dying to have some free time to read City of Ashes!!:(

I'm actually a little bit disappointed with The City of Fallen Angels. I was happy with The Mortal Instruments staying a trilogy. Does anyone know why she decided to write three more books? Because I was perfectly happy with the way City of Glass ended.

I really liked CoFA.
I wasn't perfectly happy with the ending of CoG. In a way I was but there was so much unexplained. What happened to Jace after finding out who he was, why did he see Tessa? I could go on LOL

Still, it sort of bothers me - it feels like a new series all together because everyone has changed. I'm not sure if I like it, because if those questions will be answered there will be others that aren't, you know?

No I think with her saying City of Heavenly Fire being the last one, I think everything will be answered. She's a great author.

Tho I have to say I think Infernal Devices is 100% better than TMI

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

YES!
Clockwork Prince is my favourite book right now. It's amazing. I like ID better than this series. The first book is a little slow but it gets better

I agree. I think she should have stopped with CoG. I've really enjoyed the ID so far too.

The Infernal Devices is soooooooooooooooo MUCH BETTER THAN TMI!

The only problem I have with this cover is it is so beautiful I can't see them beating this cover for the next one. I think this should have been City of Heavenly Fire's cover as I don't think anything is gonna beat it

OMG!! I know what you mean but keep an open mind, I know I always get blown away when a new book comes out and has a HOT AS HELL cover even though the last book's cover was supposed to be the best!!! (geeshhh...sounds like I'm rambling;)*you get the point* LOL ;)

I have the entire mortal instruments accept for the newest book out of the series city of lost souls..:D Can not wait for it to come out..:D

oh the agony to finally have it in my hands, i'm seriously considering getting the infernal devices in paperback to and just reading all of them back to back :P

I do I think it's super cute.

I've only read up to City of Glass.
I thought the book should have ended there. :(
But this series is just so great.
I hope they really make it into a movie.

I love this series i especially love Jace and Clary

I was a lil bummed with the jace/sebastion situation i just dont know whats going to happen now. Jace cant be near clary in the book because he keeps dreaming of killing her so the silent brothers say he needs to be baptized again since clary brought him back but jace gets possesed so who knows whats going to happen now?

yes he was the main character in book4 , but it wasnt tottally focused on him, other character did come in it alot aswell! book 4 was amazing, you defo have to read it<3 agreed! the cover is wickedddddddddddd!!

She's writing number 5????????? Why am I so out of the loop. I haven't read City of Fallen Angels because I am waiting for it to come out in paperback. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... And I really REALLY wanna read the ID series!!!!!!!!!! :( Maybe I should ask my bf to get them for me for my birthday next month.......
