Heroes of Olympus discussion

In The Lost Hero and The Son of Neptune, each of the seven (with the exception of Annabeth who hasn't been confirmed as the seven yet) is told they will be the ones who save the world, who tip the balance and defeat Gaea.

Percy: Hera says he will be "the glue." Gaea wants to make him her "pawn"
Piper: Aphrodite tells her she'll be the mediator and Her tells her she's special to the quest.
Frank: Mars tells him he'll use his sense of duty to win the war in the end when Percy will be unable to make a decision.
Jason: Hera/Juno tells him he is her hero, champion, and that he's really important too.
Leo: Gaea tries to break his spirit because he might bring about her downfall.
Hazel: I don't remember hers, somebody help me out here?
Annabeth: Hera/Juno says she'll be really important, mess things up, and stuff.
So, almost all of gem are told that the others will be unable to make the final decision but they will have to, and end up saving the world.

Hazel was brought back form the underworld bcuz she's important right! No one else would be brought back if they weren't important...

No offense, but I think Reyna would just make more of a problem... and Nico, well, Nico has his own part to play. Annabeth will make things tough, but that is what has to happen. That is what a prophecy tells

I totally hope so! Even though she might make things tough she is a very interesting character...:)

And let's not forget she's an awesome straigest which will totally come in handy...

Yeah!!! :) I'm actually writing a fan-fic about Annabeth on Goodreads... haha. It's in her mind before and during The Lost Hero.

Oh I felt so sorry for her. But it also made readers realize a little bit of her vulnerability to losing someone she really cared about him...:( awww...

Yeah I know! I was like, "Whoa. She really can break down." I didn't know what to do in my fan-fic. Like, how sad I should like make her and stuff. But I think I did good... at least, I hope.

I know but that was kinda, nice too, you know she's not completely invincible, which is cool right...:)

Yeah. It's nice to see her not be so strong, like in a good and bad way.

Yeah, that's good, but it's like sad to see her like all devastated. I can't wait to see her mind in The Mark of Athena. It would be weird if they didn't include that.

Asmaa, the book mentions that Annabeth will be unable to make the right choice/mess things up/ something becuse of her fatal flaw, her pride. (i think thats my fatal flaw too. oops.)

That's what I meant as in maybe it involves sacrificing someone 'I'm not even gonna do the coughing bit now' and he can't do it cause he's too stinkin' loyal. I don't think Frank's making the decision but he needs to be there to help Percy make it... =D

And Leo's like,

"No, man, I know. I was going to throw these at Percy. He's like in a trance..."

And Piper's just there rolling her eyes "You guys sure you're in the seven?"

And Leo's like.

"Hey Piper! Watch it, or I'll throw these breath mints at YOU!!!"

LMFAO!!! And then nico just shadow travles in sees the rukkus shakes his head and leaves

Then Piper smirks and uses her charm speak "Throw breath mints at yourself Leo."
He throws a breath mint at his eye "Ouch hey no far!"
Meanwhile Annabeth- Gaea is still starring at Percy "You do know you do defeat me you are SOOO in the dog house with your girlfriend..."

Yeah and Frank's like,

"Leo, you know, maybe you should throw those breath mints at Percy... he looks a little dreamy..."

Percy turns to Frank "Really that's your plan to help me here!" he looks at Annabeth-Gaea "My girlfriend is stinkin' controlled by a creepy earth goddess here."
Leo turns to Piper "You see this is why I never date anyone, it only causes these problems."
Piper smirks "If you could get a date."

Frank turns to Percy "Dude you really ARE in the dog house."

Roma shrugged "Who cares I'd rather see this then have to do the work sheet."
