Introduce yourself here, so you can get to know eachother, and they get to know something about you! My name's Phoebe, and i'm a bit weird. What about ya guys?

My name is Tiffany. I've been an avid reader since I was a kid, but never anything educational. I love romance and contemporary novels. I've always loved writing as well and really got into it a few years ago writing fan fiction for General Hospital. I am also currently writing a fanfiction story for Veronica Mars. I'd like to branch out more now and write my own stories.

I'm Linda (waves) I'm 21 and I write short stories as well as work on some longer "novels" I don't take my work to seriously at the moment because I'm also a free-lance article writer and that is what pays the bills! I'm also a crafter and am working on opening my own online shop, I think that's about all that is relevant for the moment other than two questions:
1. May I post a link to my blog somewhere?
2. May we have personal threads to post our stories in?

I wanted to thank Phoebe for the group invitation. My name is Michael J. Sullivan and I wrote a fantasy series, The Riyria Revelations. I know quite a bit about the publishing end (so feel free to ask me questions if you are interested in that). And have writing advice out on my blog (which I'll repost here.

Greetings, everyone. I've been a writer as long as I can remember and the only thing I enjoy more than writing is helping other writers become the best writers they can be. Would be thrilled to answer your questions or hear from you one on one.

After 8 years as a newspaper editor and reporter, I spent 15 years writing romance novels -- HQ Superromances, HQ Temptations, HQ Americans & a Steeple Hill -- about 25 in all under 3 pseudonyms. When I decided I'd written all the romances I cared to write, I switched back to my roots in journalism and began ghostwriting non-fiction, am up to about 10 books in that field. Have recently launched back into fiction. So my experience is deep and wide.

You'll find that most people here are either published authors or people who want to publish someday. Editing a newspaper must of been fun. Fiction is a popular thing, nowadays. Maybe even more so than non-fiction writing. It's nice to know you've had expecience in the writing books department. You are probably really knowledgable on what works in a book and doesn't. :)
