Lush Library discussion

With one day to go the January books are a 3 way tie. I found it really difficult to decide - I've read the Raw Shark Texts and Shadow of the Wind and they were both great reads. The childrens book I started but gave up because I got bored. I'd like to read The Luminous life of Lily Aphrodite.
Eventually I went for the Raw Shark texts because it is such an amazing, original book but my point of this rambling post is what did you vote for and why? and if you haven't voted, why not?

I had voted for Lilly but changed back to Shadow of the Wind because every best book you've read this year thread on here has it mentioned repeatedly. I've also seen it on top book lists so I'm eager to read it:)

I read the synopsis's? for them all and voted for the one I liked the look of most. :)
