Heroes of Olympus discussion

I've seen you guys are awesome writers and we seriously can't survive without this so I'm putting it in! Make up a story with friends and all that stuff here and let everyone continue it, or even write you own story, I don't care. Just get the creative juices flowing! =D

So it's Christmas and everyone has decided to celebrate it together. The Heroes of Olympus war is over and it is Christmas!!!

Everyone is sitting by a Christmas tree and there are TONS of presents under the tree.
Percy grinned. "Santa must've been busy this year!"
Annabeth slapped him on the arm. "Percy! It's Christmas."
Percy rubbed his arm, looking hurt. "Exactly!"
Hazel rolled her eyes. "So how are we going to do this?"
"We should be organized." Piper said. "Each of us chooses a present one at a time."
"Great idea!" Annabeth exclaimed.
Percy made a face. "Well... if we're going to do that, I think the person who is the most awesome should go first," he told everyone, straightening his shirt and looking, or at least trying to look very pompous.
"So me!" Leo exclaimed, greedily grabbing the first present with the name LEO on it.
Piper grabbed it out of his hands and gently put it back down.
"No, we are going to pull numbers for each person and then whoever goes first goes first, but they have to choose a present for someone else," Annabeth said.
Percy rolled his eyes. "Stop being so complicated!!!"
Annabeth shot him a glare.
Hazel calmly said, "Sounds like a great idea."
Frank pouted at her and she lightly punched him on the arm. "I'll go get the papers," Hazel said, and she walked away.
"Girls," Frank muttered under his breath.
"I heard that!" Hazel called from the other room.
Thalia punched him, hard unlike Hazel. "YOU'RE a boy, so I wouldn't be talking."
Frank muttered, "Ow!" Then he yelled, "Come ON, Hazel! Hurry up!"

Everyone pulls out a number. Leo unrolls his which is number 1. "YESYESYES! what did i tell you guys, the Fates have spoken and proven me! I am the best!"
He greedily grabs his present and rips it apart. Out fall out a neon sign and a pair of underwear. The Neon Sign says, "Leo, you have some hygiene issues. But who knows, maybe when you hash it all out, I'll give you a chance. Merry Christmas, Thalia Grace.
Leo:"YES! I knew you knew i'm awesome,thalia!"(then becoming extremely embarrassed, hides his new boxers and flips over the sign,which [too late] everyone has already read.The flipped over message reads: NOT

Thalia snickers and looks up at the cieling innocently. Piper snorts and says, "only you, thalia. only you."
frank and percy start to laugh at leo, when they notice their hair smelling like smoke.
"AAuugh!"they yell, and both quickly dump water over their hair with their powers. they glare at leo, who glares right back at them. then, Leo realizes that a wet spot is spreading alll over his body, from under his arms.
"Hey, cut that out!" he yells at the two.
Annabeth steps between them. "You guys quit it or I'm dumping your presents in Tartarus!"
"Yeah, even Kronos needs his Christmas!" Piper says.
"Alright" "Fine." "Sure, whatever"
"What was that, Leo?" Thalia asks calmly.
"Ummm..nothing."
Percy asks, "Can I get my presents now?"
"Well, who's number two?" Piper asks.
"I am!" Frank hollers, and Percy snorts. "Da_n right you are."
"Percy..."
"Go on, second person."Piper says, with gritted teeth, ready to get the present-opening started again.
"My Turn!!" Frank exclaims and reaches for his box.

Frank lifted the top of the box off and pulled back some tissue paper. He read the small card and looked at what was under it. His face turned bright red and he stuffed the lid back on the box. Hazel looked puzzled and nudged him carefully. Everyone asked,
"What's in the box?!?" Frank just shook his head and shoved the box behind his box. Annabeth looked around and spotted Percy, who was smiling mischievously. She sighed.
"What did you do Percy?" Everyone groaned and turned to him. Percy was trying hard not to laugh. Hazel pulled the box from Frank's tight hands and he held his face in his hands. She carefully opened the box and read the card, saw the present and burst out laughing.
"What?!?" Jason asked. Hazel shook her head and nodded to the box. Jason leaned forward and grabbed it.
"Merry Christmas, chinese baby man," he read, and everyone cracked up. "I still find it unfair that you can transform because of Posiedon, so I got you something that would make that power embarrassing."
Everyone leaned forward, and Frank looked up, his face red, and Jason doubled over, laughing like a hyena as he lifted up the superhero costume with the words Morph Man on it. Percy was laughing the hardest. He was banging his fists on the ground and his face was red.
"So... funny... man!" Leo said between laughs.
Even Piper, Thalia and Annabeth were laughing. The only one who didn't look at all amused was Frank. He tore it from Jason's hands and stuffed it behind him. When everyone calmed down, Annabeth said,
"Alright! Who has 3?"
Piper raised her hand.
"I do!" She said, grinning. Then she reached over and grabbed a bag.

Piper opened the bag to reveal a make-up kit. Her eyes widened then hardened dangerously "Okay is this someone's idea of another joke cause I swear if it is Leo I am going to kill you!" Leo puts up his hands though it's clear he's suppressing a laugh "Hey it's not me this time, maybe you should read the card. Piper opened the card still eyeing everyone "okay lets see," she read the card and nearly choked. "What is it?" Annabeth and Hazel said leaning forward to get a look then broke out laughing. "What? What is it?" all the boys said and Leo grabbed the snatched from Piper's grip. He could hardly even read it "Piper dear I figured that since you're the new consueler of the Aphrodite cabin you might as well not bring anymore shame to our reputation. Here's a magical make-up kit that you have to use everyday or you'll face break out into hives. No need to thank me, Drew" he turned to Piper "I guess beauty queen needs a little help with her beauty huh?" Everyone started laughing as Piper's face turned a dark red and curse Leo into falling in love with a teddy bear. Thalia grins "Hey I think he finally got over me." she says looking at Leo cuddling with the teddy bear. Percy shudders 'I think I once saw Kronos do the very same thing." Annabeth turns to him her eyebrows raised "When exactly?" Percy shrugs "My dreams are really messed up." "Alright!" Piper puts up her hands to get everyone's attention while they stared suspiciously at Percy "Who's next?" Annabeth looked at Percy's number "Seaweed brain you're up." Frank stands up "Ha I was number 2!" Percy shrugs "My awesomeness put me ahead of you." Before Frank could do anything Percy pulled out his present "Oh yeah I have a feeling this is gonna be good." Annabeth snickered quietly but no one noticed...

The present had two boxes attached to it, so Percy yanked the first one off. That wrapping paper had no chance. Percy ripped the red and green paper to shreds and found a cube box, so he ripped the lid off. He peeked in and made a face.
"Ugh! Who in their right mind would give this to me?" He pulled out a squishy, round blob made of seaweed weaved together. Everyone was laughing their heads off. Percy grabbed a card from the bottom of the box and sighing, read,
"'Dear Seaweed Brain, Merry Christmas! I love you, but this is your brain. In the next box I put something that will actually help you. Love, Annabeth'."
"Open it!" Everyone but Percy and Annabeth yelled. Percy glanced at Annabeth who was grinning at him.
"I'm not sure I want to know..." He said.
"Come on, Seaweed Brain, you know you do," Annabeth coaxed.
Hesitantly, Percy slowly opened the next box and brought out a dome-shaped gray metal hat with buttons on it and a strap attached to it. Percy read the next note,
"'Dear Seaweed Brain, Here is your new thinking cap! Love, Annabeth'." Laughter broke out and Percy's face turned pink. Fighting giggles, Annabeth grabbed the thinking cap and strapped it on his head, then pushed a button, and blinking lights flashed out.
"WARNING! STUPID PERSON!" The lights blinked out.
The laughter roared even louder and Percy tore it off his heads, and the lights immediately stopped blinking.
"Very funny, Annabeth," Percy grumbled.
Annabeth laughed and hugged him.
"Alright, who's turn is it to be humiliated?" Jason asked with glee.
"Mine." Thalia said confidently and she grabbed a box.

Thalia opened her box and unwrapped two packages. Inside the first was a pinecone. "hope this reminds you of the good days-percy, annabeth, and nico." she read aloud.
"very funny..." thalia retorded.
The second package read "we figured the pinecone wouldn't be enough so here. -from jason, leo, and piper. P.S. make sure you back away from allies when you use this, and i'm still available sweetcheeks-leo!" thalia looked extremely puzzled and opened the box. Inside was a lightening bolt charm for her bracelet. She fastened it on to aegis and opened her sheild. Her sheild crackled woh electricity. "niceeee!" she exclaimed. She closed aegis and sat back down, "so whos next?"
Nico was still staring at leo in awe "you have GOT to do something like that for me! Anyways i'm next..." nico got up and began opening his present.

Oh... I have an idea who it would be from (Roma) *cough cough* =D

Nico pulled two boxes towards him. One large, the size of one or two people and a smaller one. He opened the smaller one first with curiousity to get a carioki (don't know how to spell it) machine. Everyone looked suspiciously at the present "Open the card Nico." Percy said glancing at it as if it might explode. Nico shrugged and read out loud "My love, To remind you of all the good times." Piper raises an eyebrow "Who would send YOU that?" Nico glares at her "Hey there's still some left to it." he looked closer to read the small printing "Look in the box to find out who I am." Nico looked wide eyed at the box and everyone "You don't think-" Percy looked over at the box "Only one way to find out." he pointed to the box "After you Nico." Nico went over to the box and started to unwrap it. When he was down there was a card board box left. Leo looked at it "Is this some kinda joke cause I don't remember doing this..." the box started to rumble and two girls popped out. One (Roma) ran toward Nico "I've come for you." Isabelle looked to see people looking at her "I had to tag along cause she wants me to play the violin and dim the lights for romance and if we get caught she's not alone in jail..." Roma looked over "And you should be doing your job!" Isabelle sighed "FINE!" she started playing the violin. Leo looked at the two girls "What would make you do that?" Isabelle smiled "She payed me in cake, I like cake!" Nico and Roma started singing You and I again while everyone groaned. Leo looked up "Aww... I was waiting for something good to happen..." Piper shrugged "Here." she charm speaked Leo into kissing the teddy bear "That's exciting... for us!" Everyone snickered and Annabeth put her hands on her hips "Alright who's next?" Everyone looked around confused until Annabeth blushed "Oh... me." She went over to get her present...

(Sorry I was watching a...a interesting video I can't understand) Annabeth picked up her present suspiciously looking at everyone, "if this is a prank I'll kill you all." Piper leaned toward Leo "If we all die it's your fault." Leo smirked and looked over to Annabeth. Annabeth shoke the box a bit and after she felt satisfied she decided to open it. Percy snickered a bit as she opened the box. She screamed and jumped up a good ten feet. Everyone looked ready to laugh when she turned dangerously on them "That's it all of you are dead especially you Leo!" Piper kicked Leo "Look what you did now we're all dead and it's all your fault!" Leo stood up confused "For once in my life I can't take credit for this..." he shoke his head "Oh my gods who would dare prank Annabeth!" Everyone turned to Percy even Roma and Nico stopped singing and Isabelle looked ready to place bets on a fight, "Oh not even flowers will fix this..." Annabeth looked at Percy "Spiders? Really?" Percy shrugged grinning "Hey I figured everyone needed a good laugh." Annabeth looked about ready to kill him but settled for a definite glare while Leo backed up "You were going to kill me but you just give HIM a glare?" Annabeth shrugged "Hey he is my boyfriend, you'll see when you date someone in the next hundred years or so..." Everyone cracked up and Leo huffed "Is like 'Pick on Leo day' or something?" Jason laughed "No that's tomorrow, we have it all planned out and everything!" Leo glared at everyone "Okay whatever already who's next?" "Me." Hazel said pulling the box close to her "And if you do something like Percy did to Annabeth rest assured you will SO be in the dog house!" Percy leaned towards Frank "You didn't happen to..." he nodded "Dude you are SO in the dog house!" Isabelle looks at them "Is it me or has that become a really annoying catch phrase?" Piper nodded "I agree."

YAY! Wait who else is left?

Hazel found an average-sized box and a large, looong box with her name on it. The long box was wrapped with the comics in the newspaper. She looked at everyone, slightly hurt, but also amused. "I can't believe you guys care about me only enough to wrap my present in the newspaper!"
Leo shrugged. "Oh, well, you could always use it for a good laugh."
Hazel smiled and unwrapped her present sloowly, making sure not to rip the paper. inside was a box. she opened the box to find another one inside. After she ripped the inner box out, a note and a metal detector fell out. The note read, "Dear, Hazel. This is to help you find gold underground. Then you can be as rich as you want to be! Merry Christmas, Frank Zhang:)"
Hazel turned to Frank. "FAI ZHANG, YOU ARE SOO DEAD."
Frank shrugged, embarrassed. "I thought you might like it...cause, you know, if you get gold from underground with your powers, you can't use it. But if you use this"-he rapped the metal detector-"to get your gold, then, you can buy whatever you want with it." He held up his hands."Sorry"
Hazel looked up at Frank. "Are you kidding me?" she asked, looking astonished and even sounding a bit choked-up. Then she ran to him and hugged him.
Frank smiled. "You've got another box left, Hazel."
"Yeah, Hazel, open it!" Leo said.
Hazel unwrapped the second box. It had pictures of skulls decorated with hairbands of holly as its wrapping. She found a red box inside. She opened the red box. Inside, was a green box. She took off the lid. There was a silver box. She opened that, looking around suspiciously. "Is this going to end in a prank?"she asked. As she opened the last and final box, which was about the size of her hand, she spotted something inside that made her gasp. Everyone leaned over, and she read the card.
Dearest Sister Hazel, I gave you the one thing that you shall never lose, by death or by life. Hope you have many adventures with your new pet! Don't worry, I didn't take him from the Elysium. He'll be happier here than he was at Tartarus. Seasons Greetings, Nico
Everyone peered inside the box. Inside was a dead, sleeping iguana. It was gray and slightly see-through.
Hazel gulped. "Th-thanks, Nico. But I won't know how to take care of it."
Nico grinned, "That's the best part, Hazel. He doesn't need anything! Isn't that great?"
Piper spoke up, "Sure it is, Nico. You got your half-sister a dead lizard for Christmas. Of course she's feeling lively."
"It's ok, Piper" Hazel said. She patted Nico. "Thanks Nico. I'll take care of him. He is a great present. His name will be Fortunato."
Yumna started laughing.

(I think Jason's the only one left) "Okay okay now who's next?" Isabelle said taking a break from playing the violin "I got this party I need to be at and Roma said I had to do this until this ended." "Which you should still be doing." she said still singing with Nico "Oh my gods." Isabelle said and started playing again. Jason looked at his number "Yeah I'm next." He pulled out a medium sized package he glanced around the room "Before I open this may I please ask that there are no undead lizards, brains or beauty kits in here." everyone shrugged as Jason sighed "Oh gods." he opened his first present and braced himself, inside was a gold coin, one that looked exactly like the weapon that he lost way back in his first fight with the giant, he turned to Piper and Leo "Is this really?" they nodded "Read the card." Leo said pointing to it, Jason took one look at the card and groaned "Leo come on don't make me read this out loud." Leo gave him a pout and Jason sighed and started to read "Dear Prince of the universe," he scowled at Leo "Yeah I know we're awesome and all that stuff and Merry Christmas blah blah blah, feel free to mention how awesome I am for getting her little brother the most awesomest present, which it is. Oh and Piper helped, whatever." Everyone grinned while Piper punched Leo's arm "That's not the card I put in Repair boy!" Leo grinned sheepishly "Yeah I changed it," he winked at Thalia "I'm very good at getting things I want to happen, happen Like a certain dark haired beauty going on a date with me?" Thalia sighed "HUNTER OF ARTEMIS! What part of NO boys do you not understand?" Leo grinned "The no." Thalia looked like she was about to strike a lighting bolt to finish him for good when Percy cleared his throat "Hey guys there's one last present." Everyone turned, "For who?" Yumna said curiously. Percy read the label "For you Roma and Isabelle from... GAEA!" Isabelle looked up "I thought she went back to sleep cause you guys failed so much she couldn't take it." "She did," Jason said "That's the sad part." Roma stopped singing for a moment "Well give it to us already!" Percy handed the three the box and they opened it carefully only to start laughing. The others looked at them, "What is it?" Nico said craning his neck to see the present then stopped short "A letter, that's what you're laughing at?" Isabelle looked up "Here read it." Nico shrugged and took the letter in his hand "Dear big failurs, Yes I know I'm supposed to be a sleep but I just couldn't miss the opportunity to insult you on your final battle, I mean come on, aren't you guys trained for this or something. Really disappointed in you and yeah have a merry christmas, you shouldn't cause you're failurs but hey I gotta be nice, here's a book to make you feel even worse." Roma raised the book with humour "It says: How to adjust to your loser status" Yumna grinned "Nice gift." Percy turns to audience (Random I know) "Have a merry demigod Christmas except you Gaea, you really tick me off." Isabelle sighs "I agree."

ADDING TO LETTER:
Not only that, but I am insulted by the conduct of maturity with which you 'fought' me. Really? Do you kids think that I am so unimportant that that's ALL you did to prepare?
I am deeply grieved and will be going back to sleep to get these wounded feelings off my mind.
PS That was the silliest thing I've ever seen kindergartners do, let alone high schoolers. You children are a failure in the hero business and belong in the nursery.

Jason found a small box that had rolled out of Gaea's box. It said, "Present" on it with mud.
Piper looked around nervously. "Uhh..should we open it? I mean..she's Gaea."
Hazel chewed her lip thoughtfully, staring at the present. Leo piped up,
"It could be a bomb. A bomb, right? I mean, we're her worst enemies."
Annabeth started to laugh. "Not anymore, Leo. Not anymore."
Leo pouted. "give me a good reason there aint a bomb in there. I'm NOT risking it."
"There's no bomb in there," Hazel said. "I checked. No sign of metal. Or even a rock."
Percy and Frank both visibly shuddered as their imaginations ran loose. "I still don't want to open it."Percy said.
Thalia stepped forward and grabbed the box. "You guys are wimps," she said, scowling at Percy, Frank, and Leo. She ripped it open and inside lay a clot of mud writhing and undulating with earthworms and mealworms. On one side, out poked a stick. It was white. Thalia picked up the note while others expressed their feelings of disgust.
"A LOLLIPOP" the note said.
Everyone gasped, and Piper ran to the fireplace. She clutched her stomach and vomited into it.
"EEEUH!" everyone exclaimed, both at the lollipop and Piper. Jason went over and helped her.
Leo persisted on agonizing Thalia, saying, "I wanted to open it straightaway. I would have, too, if it wasn't that the smarter approach was to check if there was a bomb. I'm not afraid. "
Thalia eyed the mealworm-lollipop with disgust. She looked at Leo. "You know, that isn't necessarily a good thing."
"Merry Christmas," Hazel told Frank, and kissed him.
Annabeth and Percy walked out to look at the stars. Nico played with Fortunato.
Somewhere in the distance, someone had put up a fireworks display. Everyone came outside and watched the Blooming sky with contentment, and Nico started caroling with Roma. Isabelle and Yumna lay on their backs, feeling VERY comfortable on their cushions. They watched the stars and oohed and aahed about the fireworks.
Thalia turned around. "This has sure been some memorable Christmas."
"I'll never forget it." Piper said, smiling now that she felt better.
"Me, neither." everyone said in unison, and sighed. "Merry Christmas."
