Yeah, same. :/ I'm not sure if I want Graceling to be turned into a movie. I do, and I sort of don't...if you get what I mean...

"I've gotten the go-ahead to announce that India-based Reliance Entertainment is developing Graceling into a movie. From this press release at Variety: "producer Deepak Nayar ('Paranoia') will oversee the project for Reliance and Kintop Pictures and will produce alongside Tabrez Noorani ('Life of Pi') of Tamasha Talkies and Leigh Ann Burton for Blu-Sky Media. British screenwriter Piers Ashworth ('Nostradamus') will write the script." Here's a USA Today mention, and one in the Wall Street Journal."

i think that it would be interesting as a movie - since it's not like a lot of what we've seen before. i think that if there's successes found then hopefully they'll adapt Fire which i thought would be GREAT if it were all CGI'd and 3D'd

that would be cool.

I hope they can incoorperate the land really good cuz it seems kinda magical and hope the set is really good

1. There have been plenty of books turned into good movies, whether or not it fit exactly what was in your head is subjective. I realize there have been lots of terrible ones as well, but, it is entirely possible. (Lord of the Rings, anyone?)

2. I think this series could be incredible as movies! Of course like any other book to movie adaptation, they'd have to do it well, and keep the author in touch with production to keep their vision.

the hunger games was a great book and a better movie! so hopefully Graceling is the decent movie! Guys have faith! because then they'd be able to make 'fire' and 'bitterblue'

Oh A movie. Thiers not that much animation so it cant be ruined to bad, but how are they doing the King leck, katsa, kills him part. I mean she throws a dagger into his mouth.... So how are they going to work that out. Then thiers the part with the boat and I realy dont think they are going to get on a boat so It may or may not be good.

I feel like this book is one of those books that if it turns into a movie the movie will do no justice to the book. It may be a fine movie by itself but the big screen can never capture the characters the way our hearts have.

Apparently all you need for a YA novel to be turned into a movie is throwing in some random romance and then you're good.

There's too little info on the imdb site to know if this movie will actually get produced or not. It could still be in the process of getting the funds for it. There's not even a cast list.

I don't really understand how it can hold interest in a movie theater. No offense, I enjoyed it as best as possible but it doesn't really feel like a book suited for the movies. Unless they cut some of the traveling to Bitterblue.

Yeah, I don't think there should be a movie. Too inappropriate. If they do, should be rated R.

Its being turned in to a movie! Not quite sure if this is good or bad yet, but I personally can't wait to see how they do the effects and such! I love this book so I am hoping for it to be a great adaption.

No! If this book gets turned into a movie, the producers will COMPLETELY mess it up! Usually, book to movie adaptations are pretty bad. But Catching Fire and Divergent were good, so I can't say how Graceling will be, because Oh My Goodness, the book was so good, but I really doubt the people making the film are going to make it accurate, and Graceling is the kind of book where DETAILS ARE IMPORTANT.
