Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 152 comments Time to make a fool of myself...what's the deal with Fabio? I seem to lack the cultural reference.

Fabio was known for being on many of the historical romance covers in the late 80s and 90s. I think he's associated with romance novels (and probably in a cheesy, unflattering way to many). I was never a fan of his. But my friend loved him.

Fabio was historical romance books hero. He's definitely no Cole Clayborne.

I know he was on a lot of Johanna Lindsey covers. Since I bought all her books, I have a lot of books with him gracing the cover. Sigh.
