"why are we here?"He asked.

"Because I wanted to show you something," MC replied, "Asteria kept it safe for me."

"what is it?"Malcum asked raising an eyebrow.

"You'll see," MC sang, "Just close your eyes."

Malcum looked at her but ended up closing his eyes like she wanted.

Once she was sure his eyes were closed, MC guided him to a pedestal and lifted the cover off a book. "Open them."

"must I still keep my eyes closed?"Malcum asked reaching out to open them.

"No, open them," MC replied.

Malcum opened them up, preparing for whatever was there.

MC held the book up. "Like it?"

"Dementia is Latin for insanity, Festra is a variation of fester which means to rot, Caina is a variation of Cain- the first killer in the bible, Mortis is Latin for death, and Corpsica is a variation of corpse," MC said, shrugging, "It's not so hard to say."

"We have," MC replied, "There's living proof upstairs."

"Asteria's the living proof," MC clarified.

"isn't she like...crazy?"Malcum asked.

"No, just eternally hungry," MC said, "It's a side effect we're working on."

"Yes, we do experiments still," MC said.
