I second that Janet. I received it for Christmas and would love to jump in.

Ladies, if you'd like to nominate this book please pop over to the Amish group reads nominations thread here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/7... This topic is for our alternative, non-Amish group read. Thanks! :)

My bad -- I just assumed it was a Love Inspired Historical. Never mind. 8-P (That's me looking silly!)

No worries, LOL! There are so many discussions going on this group I often get things confused too. Sometimes I click on the wrong thread without realising it and get really confused :P <-- me looking silly also!

Rebecca, nominations for this month are for Harlequin's Love Inpsired Historical series. Jenna's Cowboy does not qualify; although it does look like a good read! Please feel free to make another selection.

#1 Homespun Bride by Jillian Hart!
I've had this on my Kindle for ages, looking forward to finally reading this! Thank you to everyone for your nominations, I, to be honest, would have been happy to have read any of these books, they all looked great :)

Yes, Jillian is very active over on the 'Love Inspired Historicals' group here on GoodReads, so she very well might be able to answer any questions anyone has! :)
I read 'Homespun Bride' last spring and quite enjoyed it. I hope you all will enjoy it as much as I did! :)

I read it last spring as a stand-alone, and it's absolutely fine that way. I believe it's about the ancestors of her 'modern' McKaslin clan. :)
