bella (thespiceflows) | 14 comments Hi Dalene have you tried Jenna Bennett's series that starts with A Cutthroat Business? It reminded me a lot of the Janet Evanovich books, which I loved too.

You're off to a good start for the challenge :)

I haven't. Thanks for the recommendation. I will put it on my list. State of the Onion by Julie Hyzy was a lot of fun like Janet Evanovich books, so I am going to continue with that series. I also enjoyed Cleo Coyle's, it was good and good enough to go on, but we'll see how the characters develop.

Dalene Finished The Diva Runs Out of Thyme. I enjoyed the first of this series. There were a lot of characters, so found myself trying to remember who they all were, but that sure added to the fun. Next book I guess will be during Christmas holiday, can't wait. Sure to be another good one.

I loved this book. I haven't had a chance to read more from this series, but I will

jaxnsmom Dalene - have you read JoAnna Carl or Nancy Fairbanks? The first has a chocolatier and the second a food writer.
I love Cleo Coyle, and Julie Hyzy's White House Chef series.

JoAnna Carl's series is one of my all time favorite cozy books. It's wonderful, but always has me craving for chocolate.

I do have JoAnna Carl's first in the chocolate series in my pile I got from the Library. I'll have to check out Nancy Fairbanks. Thanks!

I finished The Chocolate Cat Caper. I enjoyed it. It kept pace real well and I loved the ending. I'm still trying to track down the 2nd in the series, The Chocolate Bear Burglary. My library doesn't have and haven't had time to check the used book stores yet. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yvonne | 198 comments Just ffinished Skein of the Crime Maggie Sefton. Love this series. The characters are fun and the yarn store is so warm and cozy it makes me want to go there to run my fingers through the yarn. It has tempted me to pick up my knitting needles and see if i can get started again. Highly recommend it for someone whois looking for a nice cozy read.

The crochet mysteries by Betty Hechtman did that to me. I was off to the story to start crocheting again.

I like her White House chef series, but didn't care so much for Grace Under Pressure. Love Cleo Coyle's series.

Good to know. I saw the first chapter in the 4th book of the White House series and wondered. To me it's all in how they develop the characters.
