Everybody look! Cover and Prologue Revealed It's been released! So I just wanted to hear other people's thoughts on this... the cover, do you like, hate, LOVE... ? And the prologue. Please voice your thoughts on that... I am DYING to talk to someone about it. :D So say what you think... and have fun. :)

TBH I'm not a big fan of the cover... The prolouge is mysterious though...

The cover is okay I guess, but I like the prolouge....

I think that it is my favourite cover so far! I feel really sad for Simon, though. =-(

I agree with Daylighter, I like it, but it's not the best by far... but oh well. I was more interested in the prologue. :'( I was actually tearing up for poor Simon. I care for him so much... and he's fictional. Is that weird? :P

that was an epic prologue.... :)

I know right! I read it out loud right after I read it, and it was really fun to put all that emotion Simon has into his voice (I am hugely into reading out loud. :P ).

I hate that they change the fudgin characters for each book, like the first Clary they use should be the only one not a different Clary for each new book! But other than that its a pretty nice cover, I would like Simon to be on one of the book covers he doesn't get enough lime light!

actually this is the same Clary as CoFA, but yeah I know how you feel

Okay that makes me feel better it just bugs me so much when they do that with book covers, but they make that girl look so different. She doesn't even look like she used to, to me

I don't know. I just never pictured her that way.

I guess this one is okay. Its kind of dark compared to the other covers.

I don't really like what Clary looks like, but I love her dress. :P And Jace's hair... hahahah :D

I think Clary looks a bit old, and would have preferred Jace and Sebastian on there. City of Glass remains my favorite cover. :D

Yeah, that was a great cover. I love Sebastian... I can't help it. Is that wrong of me? :P

This cover just makes the whole situation more tragic! I mean if it takes place rite after the trgedies in cofa, shouldnt clary be looking concerned for jace like she is now? i agree that a sebastian/jace cover would be more apropriote but this still is my favorite cover of all!

Cover art of books can never quite satisfy how the character is truly portrayed. I did imagine Clary shorter than that - way, way shorter since Jace is what, 6 feet tall and Clary is only barely 5 feet? But THAT wouldn't look good in the cover, would it?

"Lots of people have been asking me about what special content might turn up in City of Lost Souls (everyone’s getting used to the crazy special content thing, I think.) There is a lot of it this time — four different editions. And even though I don’t have the information for any foreign editions (except Canada!) yet, this is what I do know:

Special Content:

IN THE US:

BARNES AND NOBLE will be carrying their own special edition. It will contain a letter from Stephen Herondale (City of Lost Souls: Stephen's Letter to Jace) to Jace, written before he died. It will be detachable and affixed to the back of the book.

WALMART will be carrying its own special edition. It will contain the short story “City of Glass: A Dark Transformation” about how Jonathan Morgenstern took over the identity of Sebastian Verlac.

COSTCO will be carrying its own special edition. It will contain “City of Fallen Angels: The Act of Falling”: the “alleyway kiss” from City of Fallen Angels from Jace’s perspective.

Target will be carrying its own special edition: the short story “City of Lost Souls: A Question of Power” in which Alec and Camille talk about Magnus and his father.

In Canada:

INDIGO/CHAPTERS will be carrying the same special edition as BARNES AND NOBLE in the US. COSTCO CANADA will be carrying the same edition as COSTCO US.

In Australia/In the UK:

Still waiting on this info.

***As far as I know, no special content comes with e-books/kindles/nooks. [Because no one expects anyone to buy more than one copy of the book, ALL THIS SPECIAL CONTENT WILL BE POSTED ONLINE AFTER AN EXCLUSIVITY PERIOD OF BETWEEN 3-6 MONTHS. i tink miss clare is showing them without the glamour/ how they really look

i feel bad for clary u can tell just by the prologue that she is well words can't explian what i think she feels

this girl has a softer appearance i picture clary with a more feisty appearance, n i dont like her nose :S

i dont like jamie campbell as jace. h seems to feminine and soft skin looking. i always pictured jace more rugged and manly looking tbh

i agree, jamie campbell looks like a girl :S thats why im not sure if i want to watch the film now but i guess we have to give him a chance his acting might take over his looks

if i can get him out of my mind of playing that guy who sings to johanna in sweeny todd with his very high pitched voice blah
