Please introduce yourself to the group, and tell us what interest you have (if any) in 1st Century Israel or the Roman Empire. Are there other historical periods and places that you find interesting?

As a Gentile Christian, I agree that first century AD is a very interesting time in history. I'm currently studying through a Sunday School clas, a book entitled "The Case for Christ" The author finds out some interesting facts, including the Jewish tendency to repeat orally and written as factually as possible. Meaning that when something was told others would make sure that it was told correctly.

Sorry I haven't been able to attend yet. I only get almost six hours a day to do everything. The rest of the time is with the kids (can't neglect them, lol).
