While I am a big fan of Chuck Klosterman's essay collections, his fiction hasn't struck me the same way. This book might be a turning point though.
Written as a manuscript being submitted to a publisher, it has a non-fiction-ish feel that keeps you interested in what will happen between the two main characters.
