I must read it then . . . there's a very LONG wait at my library for it.
I was a Jacob girl until the last book and then I kind of fell for Edward. Well if I was into vampires anyhow...lol

The third and last YA for a while I think. I need a break from all that teenage angst.
As for Jacob (eclipse) I think I like the under dog... No pun intended.

It's been too busy lately to read much, luckily summer vacation is almost here!

12. The Summer Guest by Justin Cronin.....LOVED This book!!!!

L, I just added The Summer Guest to my "to read" list. Hope to read it THIS summer.

L, I love Chris Bohjalian but I often struggle through his books as I read them and then close the last page only to say "wow, that was awesome!"

His books are worth the struggle. "Awesome" is usually what I say too.

WOW!!! If a book ever deserved its hype it would be this one. I'm emotionally drained from reading it. I hated the characters yet this is probably my favorite book of the year so far.

Part memoir part cookbook.

Looks like you read this in August and I just finished it. I agree my favorite book this year. I woke-up early and stayed-up late to finish it. It couldn't have ended any other way. My new favorite author.

I too love Chris Bohjalian's books. My favorites are Skeletons at the Feast, Midwives and the Double Bind. I did not finish Water Witches or the Buffalo Soldier. I just couldn't connect with the story. I just bought the Night Strangers. Have you read it?
Vicki, I have read Before You Know Kindness, The Law of Similars, and Midwives.
I have the Double Blind, but I have not read it

Vicki, they were both very good. I really just love the way he writes though. In one of his book trailers I watched on his web site he says they he just loves writing about women and children and the family. It really shows because he gives them all depth and life.

Loved it!"
I can't wait to get to this one! I bought it earlier this year! I'll probably get to it next year. Another one of my friends is reading this now and I wish I knew she was, I woulda done a read-a-long! =/ So glad you liked it! Can't wait to read it! I've heard nothing but great things about it!

I had this one for a while before reading it too. It's a page turner and a little creepy too. Enjoy!

Who knew he wanted to be a teacher once upon a time or that such a tough guy could be so emotional?
I just picked up Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs too. It sure does look rather creepy!

It was creepy but great read

27. Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear
28.Dark Lover by J.R. Ward

33.Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L James
34.Fifty Shades of Chicken: A Parody in a Cookbook by F.L Fowler
the second was the most disturbingly hilarious cookbook that I've ever read. Received it for review from the publisher so of course I had to read the first:)
