Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Hi Steve,
Nice to see you here!
Can you give us a link to your books so we can read more about them?

I don't have Kindle. I still like hard copy books.

What is "Smashwords"?

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments Steven,
I checked out the links you provided. I read the beginning of your book via the free sample. It sounds like a very good story. It hooks the reader right away and the writing style keeps the reader interested.

I don't know much about Kindle or Smashwords. Does the reader need a gadget to access the downloads or does the book get downloaded onto one's computer. Can you explain?

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments How many MBs of space would your book take up on my computer? I've never downloaded an entire book.

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 16697 comments That sounds do-able. When our sons visit at Christmastime, I'll see if they can help me download your book. I see that there are a number of options to choose from. The following looks like a possible choice:
"Plain Text (view) (viewable as web page)".

I'll see what my sons say.

Meanwhile, I'll try to read more of the sample online.

I love experimenting with these new formats, but I'm always fearful of the technology. This is a way for me to learn how the technology works and also a chance to read your story. Two birds with one stone. (g)

Good luck, Steven!
