I would like to add some suggestions:
A Boy's Own Story
Dancer from the Dance: A Novel
The World of Normal Boys

I have read all three of the above books and would love to re-read them. Also, I have read two of Sanchez's books and wasn't super-impressed. I found
Geography Club a much more original concept with wittier dialogue. Nicole, if you like Sanchez's young adult theme, you should definitely check Geography Club.

I forgot about The World of Normal Boys - very good. Thanks Scott for the reminder.

I'd also suggest An Arrows Flight by Mark Merlis. It is an interesting take on a greek myth and I found it enjoyable.
