I've read all of these, though some not in a very long time. I'll read any of them again, but I'll pick The Tortoise and the Hare by Janet Stevens, Hot-Air Henry by Mary Calhoun (a cat book!), and Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain by Verna Aardema.
