I have always had a hard time with macey because she is supposed to be gorgeous and have black hair. So finally I found someone who I think would be the perfect macey! Lucy hale! I also like her beacuase although mila kunis would be great she is very cute and sweet looking. At the beggining of book 1 macey is very rebel looking in all black if that makes sense. I think Lucy hale could do that

If they were to make this in to a movie, I think Amandla Stenberg, the girl who played Rue in THG would be a decent Bex (maybe in a year or two when she's a bit older).

I think Emma Roberts would be a great Cammie! If Selena Gomez could pull Macey off she would be good too. Some of these people that people are putting down I don't know though.

Emma Watson might be a good Bex, I think she could be really good at the acting part of it. But she doesn't look enough like Bex. But that doesn't really matter I guess, not in this, 'cause in the Percy Jackson movie Annabeth did not look like the charecter.

I think part of what makes these books interesting is that the characters are girls, kids. Most of the actresses and actors Anne and Katie put down are like 20+ Selena, the Emmas, Josh, Dakota, AnnaSophia... while the characters are 13, 14, 15, 16.

True, Jess, but you can't really find good actors who are that are younger than 16. And actually, most of them aren't very good. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

I completely agree Anne, and if you could take the actors and actresses many people listed, made them five years younger but keep their talents, it'd be perfect. And... 16 would be fine, since most of the characters are around that age. I just don't think having Emma Roberts, who's 21, play a 15 year old, is very effective.
However, I love your suggestion of Sandra Bullock for Cammie's mom. :)

It seems that most people are good with Emma Roberts as Cammie, and I agree, she sounds great. Elle Fanning would make a good Liz... Macey seems the hardest and Bex too, but there's this actress Vanessa Morgan who would make the perfect Bex. Here's her IMDB:
