Multiple narrators always take me out of the book. I don't know why that it but it's always the case. I much more enjoy a really good narrator that can change his voice to fit each character.

I purchased this book from Audible & have heard great things about it but haven't gotten the chance to listen to it yet. I hope to soon.
Michael...I've listened to a couple of books with multiple narrators but I enjoy them. I prefer that to a narrator who tries to change his/her voice but can't quite accomplish it. One of my favorite series had a female narrator. Her female characters were well done & even one of the males sounded pretty good too. Unfortunately, her voice for the lead male sounded like an elderly woman & it totally ruined the book for me. I had, thankfully, physically read the series first, so it didn't mess the books up for me. I agree though, that when done well, one narrator can make a book outstanding.

ALSO, it is only 4.95 at Audible for members for the next 2 weeks :)

I loved this book on audio. It was exceptionally well done!! Infact, I don't think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much if I had been reading it.

I also loved this audiobook. The characters were lovable.

I love the multiple voices in The Help. This was one of my all time favorite audio books. I felt like I was watching it all play out on a big screen (before the movie came out that is!) It doesn't detract at all from the story, it makes perfect sense. Each voice is a different perspective and chapter so it doesn't get confusing. I recommend.
