Caiti (magnadea) 1. The Faith Club A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew--Three Women Search for Understanding by Ranya Idliby - The Faith Club by Ranya Idliby,Pricilla Warner, and Suzanne Oliver. I'm not sure how to review this book. I did like it, but at the same time, I didn't find it as insightful as I was expecting. It was interesting to see stereotypes come to the forefront of their discussions and how they worked them out. But there was nothing ground-breaking in their discussions.

Caiti (magnadea) 2. Stealing Secrets How a Few Daring Women Deceived Generals, Impacted Battles and Altered the Course of the Civil War by H. Donald Winkler - Stealing Secrets: How A Few Daring Women Deceived Generals, Impacted Battles and Altered the Course of the Civil War by H. Donald Winkler. This was my first e-book read, having gotten a Nook for Xmas. It was a cheap buy, and the topic sounded interesting. I was not disappointed. It was, indeed, interesting. The women written about in this book were daring, risking everything, for whichever side of the cause they were working for. The book shows how women could get away with just about anything based on the mores of the time, well, at least for a while. It also shows how, as the saying goes, a woman's work is never done.

Caiti (magnadea) 3. Run by Ann Patchett Run by Ann Patchett. I have read two books by Ann Patchett because they were highly recommended to me, and lent to me, by someone who loves her work. I enjoyed Run; gave it three stars. I would recommended this as a nice read, not as a 'oh my gawd, you've got to read this!' book. With that said, I have found this year that all books I read or try to read are either nice reads or something I couldn't continue with; nothing has been remarkable, and I think that is me right now, not necessarily the books (but it could be the books! LOL).
