We're going to be setting the release date for Book one very soon.

Right now we don't know how many volumes Rifter will be. It will either be 4 or 5 depending on how the print cost pans out. Timeframe isn't worked out exactly. I'll let you know as soon as we know.

Yes, the release date for Book One, which will include parts one, two and three will be released in late November. When we have the pre-orders set up on our website, we'll be announcing it here!

Can Ginn maybe give us an update on what she is up to or link us to any blog postings she does?"

Have a look in Ginn's other group. :)

I'm terrible at this sort of thing--sorry! But I'm working on it.

Em I've pre-ordered my copy of The Rifter Book One for November and can't wait to get started! Has a decision been made as to how many books there will be in total and also the time frame or their release?

It has been decided!
The print run will be 4 books (I'm not sure what the term for that is--a quadralogy?)

The first comes out this November as you know and the other three are slated for release in 2013!

message 11: by Em (new)

Em thanks for that Ginn, fantastic news, I love a good 'quadralogy' !!!

message 12: by Em (new)

Em Not sure of the date but I think it must be a couple of months!

Bluesimplicity | 31 comments I just checked the BEB website and couldn't find it either. =( Help? **wantsbookwantsbookwantsbooksBAD**

message 14: by Em (new)

Em sorry for any confusion, I meant you can pre-order it on Amazon.co.

message 15: by Ginn (new)

Ginn Hale (ginnhale) | 319 comments Amazon often sets up pre-orders way before books are even printed.

I wouldn't stop anyone from pre-ordering through them but I know that Nicole at BEB is going to be offering 25% off for pre-orders and some kind of special deal on international shipping.

She, Dawn and the accountant are working it out even as we speak, I think.

message 16: by Antonella (new)

Antonella | 98 comments I would buy it anyway by BEB as a matter of principle ;-)

I just got a look at some of the maps, art, etc. and it sort of made my night, as well.

Sorry for replying so late, I'm in Italy to take care of my father for some days, so I don't sit all day in front of the computer as usual ;-).

Of course I'd like an autograph, thank you in advance!

Fear not, I'm still used to communicating at the pace of the postal service, so I don't mind a little delay at all.

My best to you and your father!

Hey there!

First, I'm gonna say I will cross post this on the Rifter group, so sorry if you've already seen this.

Okay, we finally have the first two print volumes of The Rifter up for preorder on our site!

http://www.blindeyebooks.com/rifter.html

Here you can order book one, The Shattered Gates, book two, The Holy Road or there is a third option for international (meaning outside the US) readers. If you preorder both books I will bundle and ship them together so you only pay shipping once for the two.

(I'll be shipping these once The Holy Road is printed, probably sometime in January.)

And, in addition to that, Ginn will be autographing the first 100 preorders from our site.

So step right up and get your red-hot Rifters!

Ginn Hale (ginnhale) | 319 comments Irregulars is battling it out on DABWAHA March 28th from Midnight to Noon cst. (Basically starting late tonight and ending before some of us in other time zones have taken a lunch break.)

So as an incentive to inspire voting all the authors of Irregulars are offering a holiday coda set in the Irregulars world. But I'm willing to go one step farther.

So, if Irregulars takes the LGBT category I will write another holiday extra in addition to the one for the Irregulars.

Would you like to spend Solstice with Javier and Kiram after they've fled Cadeleon? Would you like to peek in on Harper and Belimai during their wicked Holiday? Or maybe you'd just like to see how John and Kyle are doing.

If so, then please post your choice and VOTE!!!

There's one image of Loshai, but the majority of illustrations are of settings. Fan art would be awesome!

Ginn Hale (ginnhale) | 319 comments Anyone interested can find the Rifter Holiday coda here: http://liveyourlifebuythebook.wordpre...

liveyourlifebuythebook.com will be posting more codas--as well as drawings for prizes and sweet swag-- as part of their Advent Event, so check it out... I'm totally gonna win me a fruitcake! :D

Happy Holidays, everyone!
