Was anyone else "blown away" by this book?
Isnt this one of the most amazing books you never heard of before? I totally loved it too. I read all of George MacDonald I could get a hold of after reading this. Sir Gibbie is another one with an awesome little kid. Love Love Love G.M.

my favourite George Macdonald has to be Lilith - the first I read -but the At the back of the North Wind was somehow more grown up for all it's a childrens book
My aunt gave me this book in 6th grade and I fell in love with it then :)
