I often wonder if JK Rowling will ever write a follow up. I know right now everyone probably thinks no way - but who is to say 10 years down the line she doesn't feel the need to pick up a pen and write about Harry and his family and friends again? How would you feel about that?
I personally would love to live the dream that we will read about him again - his adventures as Aura, his children growing up at Hogwarts, and a new baddie inspired by He who must not be named, perhaps even a character we already know.
I think it could be an interesting concept, of the view from a child at Hogwarts (as it was with Harry before), and first hand accounts from Harry himself as an adult, so we see everything that is going on.
Do you think it is best left as a dream - or would you like to be lost in those pages again too?

You know as much as I would really love to read more about them I don't think I would actually like it to happen either. I mean, Harry and co. would be older and there would be no Voldemort so it just wouldn't be the same. I'm guessing if she did it would be from the POV of one of his kids and their adventures and therefore you would just catch glimpses of Harry and the rest as part of the story. I don't think you could have another Harry Potter story without it taking place in Hogwarts.
Saying that though, I'm sure it actually would be amazing seeing as it would be coming from that wonderful mind of JKR.
She has said that she will write an encyclopedia of HP in a few years time once she's had a break from the series so I'm sure there would be some extra storues and info in that.
Also, as a very lucky person who got in to Pottermore early, I have seen on it that she has written extra bits of info, backstories etc. of the characters and places in HP that you unlock by doing quests. I expect this is keeping her busy at the moment.
WHat I would actually like to see is something completely different from her. WHo knows, there could be another amazing series being planned right now from her.
