Jen (geekybookgal) | 7 comments I have a Kindle that DH bought me for Christmas and am always on the lookout for those promotional books that Amazon lists for free but it's hard to find the YA genre.

Are there maybe any blogs that list the good new YA books that are free?I see people on the forums here talk about all the good YA books they were able to get..
THX!
Jen

Alan (coachmt) | 72 comments Smashwords.com has a lot of free books, YA included, and you can get them in Kindle format (it's called Mobi).

Julie I don't know about many free ones but I have gotten quite a few for 99 cents that were awesome, and I know there are tons more out there.

Susan Go to www.ereaderiq.com sign up for their daily emails and they will send you two emails every day loaded with freebies! You can also go to amazon.com and do a search for free ya books and see what you can get! Good luck!

Jen (geekybookgal) | 7 comments Those would be good too but I find it hard to search for good new YA on Amazon. Something about the way it searches. Maybe it's just me..

Julie I do agree that Amazon is a little hard to find cheap books, they are there, just not so easy to get to. I normally will look up a book that I know is inexpensive and then browse through the "Customers who bought this item also bought" list. There were quite a few fairly new ones that were 99 cents but most of those seem to have gone back to the original price. But here are a few...

Withering Tights (Misadventures of Tallulah Casey, #1) by Louise Rennison Cloaked by Alex Flinn Camille by Tess Oliver Destiny Binds (Timber Wolves Trilogy, #1) by Tammy Blackwell Run (The Hunted #1) by Patti Larsen Hollowland (The Hollows, #1) by Amanda Hocking Jenny Pox (The Paranormals, #1) by J.L. Bryan Released (Agents of Evil, #1) by Megan Duncan

Hollowland was a great book and it's actually free right now!

Jen (geekybookgal) | 7 comments Yeah I end up doing the "customer bought" more than anything. I did find Hollowland and Jenny Pox for free a few days ago. Thanks for the suggestions-I hadn't discovered most of the books you listed!

I also did a search on yahoo and came up with a thread where they said to use this link and found a couple more that looked good.

Becca (beccahal) Evernight (Evernight, #1) by Claudia Gray

Preorder this for free.

Amazon is difficult. Sometimes I just get lucky, honestly.

Becca (beccahal) Also, another good thing to do is go to the Kindle top 100 books and click on the "top 100 free" sometimes I've found good stuff on there.

Jen (geekybookgal) | 7 comments Thanks! Preordered..

Bill (reedye) | 42 comments Where are you all seeing a kindle preorder? That link takes me to the hardcover @ $16.99 and I can't see kindle anywhere!

message 13: by Jen (new)

Jen (geekybookgal) | 7 comments There's a listing of all formats below the price a bit..click on "kindle" and it pulls up the preorder.
