I have not read this yet, but this title is so good I am dying to read it! (I love cats).

Rachel | 701 comments The night after I read this story my cat was very restless and kept trying to attack me all night long. Made the story way more realistic! :)

What in the world??? ? ?? This story is crazy! First off I love how the cat comes back to get revenge. Wouldn't it be something if all the abused animals in the world came back and got revenge? All the abandoned cats and dogs left outside all the time like they are cattle instead of a pet??? So I love that part about the story. But the cat going in the mouth... whoa! Wasn't expecting that at all!

dollmatic | 9 comments "The Cat from Hell" is one of those stories you would've love to have read as a kid under your blanket with the flashlight. Great surprise ending.

Eric | 16 comments This was a great story.

Kelly Sandberg (eilir773) I love King's cat stories!! This one was great...well put together, and I never would have guessed. I thought at first that the old guy was a complete nut case...but for sure that cat's a killer!!! :)

Kathy (bookgoddess1969) | 665 comments The ending!!!!!! OMG! Lol. Loved it!

Julianne King has a strange relationship with cats...this isn't the first time they've creeped me out in King's works.

Kathy (bookgoddess1969) | 665 comments How about the cat from Pet Semetary? Lol

Kandice | 4387 comments This was also written in the late 70's, so it is definitely more reflective of his style then. I actually have a copy of that issue of Cavalier because of this story. (hooray E-Bay!) I think it's great vintage King, but didn't really go with the rest of the stories.

Kathy (bookgoddess1969) | 665 comments I actually liked the variety of stories myself.

Jessika Hoover (jessalittlebooknerd) | 64 comments Alright, so I've been reading this book now for a few days, and I've been enjoying reading your discussions about the stories thus far...it's interesting to see other people's takes on what I've read.

But I just have to say...this is King as I know him best--now my stomach hurts and I'm terrified of my cat! :S
