Mihte's Quest
question
Can books get on TV?

In collaboration with a renowned international animation studio, Mihte's Quest: Kids in the Underworld will soon be in the TV market as a children's television animated series or serialised as a book. As a TV and Film producer I have seen many major publishers move in the same direction as myself. However, I think authors have one great advantage over Producers in general; they understand the product and can tweet it to increase its appeal. So many adaptions are sterile, whereas authors spend much of their time in edit. The only drawback is it is a costly business.
I think everyone can take heart, however, from Erigon. If Christopher Paolini's father had not been a printer, the books would have failed - persistence with great ideas pays in the world media market. The media runs in cycles, they look for concepts and often pass over great ideas, but what comes around comes around. Who would imagine a sponge, turtle ninja's or cars that turn into giants could be great ideas.
