The Current nominations for January 2009 monthly book read are:

1. The True Story of Hansel and Gretel by Louise Murphy
2. Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins
3. Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver
4. The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
5. The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski
6. Teh Divide by Nicholas Evans
7. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

Book nominations close at Midnight on December 18th. There is still time to nominate books. December 19th I will put the books in the poll section. If we get any ties for first place, then we will read two books.

Christina Stind 'Man gone down' by Michael Thomas - it was one of NY Times picks for top 5 fiction in 2007.

Matthew | 1 comments Alan Garner's The Weirdstone of Brasingamen. It's a little-known book but one of the best I've ever read.
