Too bad. I don't even remember why I posted this. Most likely, I posted that question as a challenge to the Answers website & after there were no answers they deleted the question.

What is a 404 page?
In 1992 Tim Berners-Lee defined all the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) codes based on the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) status codes. If you break it down, the first '4' indicates the error is a client error, the '0' indicates a general syntax error, and the final '4' refers to the specific error code in the '4xx' group of error codes. In total there are 17 error codes in the '4xx' group.

THX. I founded the group & then tried to keep it interesting until it seemed that there just wasn't enough participation to keep it going. If we're lucky, your new input will attract the input of others.

Goodreads groups have all fallen asleep over the past few years. Even in some of the biggest groups with 5,000 members.

The gloss has faded from the practice of 'online chatting with like-minded peers', I suspect.

I think I was pushing the envelope a bit too much for most people just w/ the concept of "Cognitive Dissidents".
