Pauline (kotaace) | 2 comments Has anyone else read this entire trilogy and then gotten completely upset with what she did to Tunstal, and how Rosto is basically never mentioned in the third book?????

KaDee I was REALLY mad at Tunstall, but I was glad that Beka got Farmer instead of Rosto. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Rosto, but I didn't think that he was for Beka. Farmer was perfect. At least, that's just my opinion. =)

Oh no! I completely agree! Farmer is perfect... I'm just upset that Rosto, Aniki and Kora were basically dropped off the story line. Like they're mentioned... in passing... but its so rare for that to happen in her stories it threw me for a loop!

But Tunstall was one that came right out of left wing... I was so peeved!

Yeah, tunstall was a jerk for doing that to beka. I'm glad that she finally got a boyfriend who loved her a lot, though. I LOVE tamora pierce!!!!!!

Aquilus | 1 comments I hate that Tunstall ended up the way he did (I loved him in the previous books). But I'm not necessarily disappointed by Tamora Pierce or anything. Mastiff had a rather dark...desperate-feeling plot. The fact that one of the characters kind of broke (I guess you can say) isn't all that surprising.

And yes, Farmer. Character-wise, I think he was a really good match for Beka.

Part of me is hoping she'll eventually write Rosto and gang into one of her short stories~
