I just watched Fox news report on it and I'm so excited to go see it. Sunday or Monday I think. I haven't wanted to see a movie like this since HP7. !!!!!

Katniss. Woooah! Jennifer Lawrence - Wow - I've seen a bit of her on various magazines these past few weeks, but seeing her close up in the article with the bow and arrow...man she's the got the air of Katniss written all over her. I think this was an awesome casting effort. I am really liking this one!!!
Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket.. she looks really good in the article! Most certainly reminds me of the image of Effie I had in my mind's eye!
Peeta Mellark - 19 year old Josh Hutcherson.. to be honest I do not recognized him or know of his past work, but he looks like a good choice for Peeta to me.
Gale Hawthorne - Liam Hemsworth. Well- I must say I am sure he is a good choice but I didnt get this image of Gale when I saw the article. Not saying its a mismatch, but this one for me didnt match up. I'm sure he'll be fine though.
Now for the thing that pleased me the most. When I though of Haymitch I originally though of Robert Downey Jr. Especially after the drunk Iron Man scene from Iron Man 3. However, when I saw that Woody Harrelson was cast, I though that was all the more fitting! He's the perfect Haymitch!
For Rue, they cast Amandla Stenberg - an young actress whom I have not scene before. But she's got a sweet smile and I think will do the part of Rue justice!
Lastly, Lenny Kravits as Cinna - LMAO! That is pretty good too!!!
Well I could go on and on, but that's enough for now!

I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy and can't wait for the next film release.
I rated the movie about 4 1/2 stars (of 5) - mainly not b/c of some of the cinematography. In some portions of the film, mainly in the beginning, the camera shook so bad it was like a Blair Witch Project flashback in dizziness. Other than that I though it was filmed well and reflected most of the story as depicted in the books.
Overall I recommend it as a must see if you had interest in the book.
