No.
I mean, it was okay, but it definitely wasn't all that.
This book didn't grab me. It didn't interest me. If anything, it bored me. Trella was just annoying. It was written so I kinda couldn't picture what was going on without going back and re-reading the descriptions again. It was confusing and I just really, really didn't like it. And that's strange for me, because I read dystopian books all the time. I love them. But this book was just so boring! The only thing I liked about it was Cogan, and he died!

And even though the sequel of this book freaked me out a bit, it was still a great read. As a matter of fact, whenever I think of Maria Snyder's work, I picture Yelena's dark, dank prison cell, Valek's book and statue-riddled quarters, and Trella' cold, intricate maze of endless pipes and tunnels in Inside Out/Outside In.
Ah, good memories.

by Maria Snyder. I loved her study series, but I don't know anything about these 2 books? What are you thoughts on them?
