Team Twilight discussion

Interesting question; I don't know what I think about it. Part of me would love to see another woman at the helm of this, even though I didn't like everything Catherine Hardwicke did. Another part of me thinks they should just get whoever can do it, though I would certainly prefer it if they were a fan of the book themselves, and I'm not sure how many men of director age would be. i dont know. im leaning towards a woman only because of the love story part of the books/movies. not that a man couldnt do as good a job, but idk if they could direct the kind of love bella should be expressing towards edward....

I really don't care either way as long as its someone who knows what they are doing...Chris Weitz did Golden Compass with bears and stuff so maybe he can pull off the wolves...

I don't care. Male or female. Personally I think a guy might make it better because they r straight toward and don't think as much. :)

I personally don't think it matters! As long as the director (male or female) sticks to the book, I'm happy. But i am a little upset that Taylor Lautner might not be in New Moon. He's amazing! And I'm even on Team Edward!

I don't think it matters. I think that it's incredible that a man is directing a series of books that girl mostly read. I just care if he messes it up or not..
