Our pick for November is The Widower's Tale by Julia Glass!

Here is our review:

In this, her fourth novel, Glass tells the intertwined stories of four men
who live in and around a New England town. The narrative turns on curmudgeonly widower Percy Darling, whose decision to lease an old barn on his property to a local preschool disrupts his solitary existence and brings him face-to-face with modern life’s complexities—including an unexpected romance, a serious illness, a daughter’s messy divorce and the politics of illegal immigration. The engrossing plot pulls you in from the very first chapter, and you’ll love Glass’s wry, witty writing and utterly real characters.
