There are several of you who are looking to read the same book and would like to do buddy-reads for those. This is the place to create folders for your buddy-read books and any and all related discussions.

Is there a place where we can post to see if other TBR members are interested in joining a buddy read?

But how do other members know to check there? And are other members interested and is it okay with Beth?

When you comment, it should show up on the home page. Since Bev created the Buddy-Reads folder, I'm pretty sure she's okay with people adding topics to it.

I know this is an ignorant question, but do you mean homepage for the group or friend's feed page. Group members who are not friends would see it or not?

I don't have any I want to post myself. I was just thinking it might make it easier since so many members are talking of doing reads together, to have a central place to post and check on here. If the participants wanted others to join, they could post it or if someone wanted to see of others were interested in a certain book. Also it would be a way to keep track of who is in for what group read, like the To2C buddy read this summer. Maybe we need to see if others are interested, no one else has responded here so maybe most members would prefer to arrange these on their own.

I think, for now, everyone is just chatting on the threads. I guess we could start a general thread, too. In fact, I'll do just that after dinner. It makes sense to let everyone know about these up-coming reads. It will be exclusive to the group.
