Hi all,

The Jane Austen moderators are proposing a group discussion of at least a couple of collections of Austen-inspired short stories.

We plan to begin with Dancing with Mr. Darcy Stories Inspired by Jane Austen and Chawton House by Sarah Waters

Our start date is April 1. In case you are new to thee group, we will post specific threads to discuss the stories within the anthology. Threads will begin on that date.

Until then, please feel free to ask any technical details of the discussion in THIS thread, but DON'T begin discussion of the stories here. We want it to be enjoyable and everyone to have a chance to start together.

We will see how long the Dancing with Darcy discussion lasts, and afterward, we plan to discuss

Jane Austen Made Me Do It Original Stories Inspired by Literature's Most Astute Observer of the Human Heart by Laurel Ann Nattress

So we will decide a start date on this one a bit later.

Hey all, we are delaying beginning the discussion until tomorrow, but will begin then - Monday, April 2. So look for a thread to be posted then. Looking forward to discussing these various stories. Thanks and see you tomorrow.

Janet Smith (janegs) Hi--just wanted to let you know that my collection of short stories was recently reviewed by IndieJane here: http://indiejane.org/2012/05/review-a...

Two copies are up for grabs, one in the U.S. and one internationally.

Hope you enter, and maybe you'll want to add it to your discussion schedule.
