We will have 2 book reads each month, both are optional, but we encourage you to participate!! Books will be selected through nominations, and then a vote in the polls. Here's how it works:
Each month you will find a thread labeled "(month) Book Reads Nominations". There, we ask that you post the title of your book, the author, and a short description of the book. Book nominations will be open for the first 3 weeks of the month, and then the last week they will be in the polls for voting. There can be up to 12 nominations for each category.
Each month there will be 2 categories. There will be a general category, where any book can be nominated, and then a themed category, which will often have to do with the holiday/season of the month at hand. If you have a suggestion for a theme you would like to see, please post it here.
There will also be a discussion board posted for each monthly book read where you can talk about the books for that month. If you were the person who nominated the book, you are not required to run the book read discussion.
