And I LOVE HotAir balloons. We live not far from a dry lake bed, and on Sat and Sun mornings, we see tons of them flying right past our house! They get so close we can talk to the pilots!!

Find the pic you like on Pinterest and right-mouse click on it.
A drop down menu should appear. At the bottom is the word properties; click on it.
A dialogue box should now appear. Select all where it says URL (address), and then copy and ok.
Go to your desired GoodReads comment field and paste in the URL:
If you are going to post multiple pics, try this to make it faster.
You already know you can click on (some html is ok) in the right-hand corner above a comment box, and it says (by the bulleted word image) you put this and remove the parts in bold:
<img src="http://www.goodreads.com/image..." width="40" height="100" alt="description"/>And then adjust the width and height. But, since getting rid of that pesky ellipsis (. . .) is so time consuming, and even if I make the height uniform, the width usually needs adjusting, I just make multiple copies of what is left after removing the innards so that it looks something like the following. (Note: I adjust the uniform height to be 120, but left the width to be adjusted.):
[image error]Then I can just copy and paste in the URLs I have copied from Pinterest between the first set of ""s and adjust the second set (the width) accordingly.

I have a couple of ideas for what I'm going to spell, it's either going to be Diamonds (for the April birthstone) or something to do with the Titanic since it's going to be the 100th Anniversary of it's sinking.
I'll make up my mind before April starts. :)

Spell It Out - April 1-30
5/6
I'm SO ready for the April Challenge, this time! :-)
In late December, I moved to Nassau, Bahamas (it ain't all that - just sayin'). The first week of April, my mom, sister and her 2 youngest daughters (ages 16 and 17.5) are coming to visit me!! So - - for April, my word is
Can't wait to watch the movie, now!
Sweet historical romance with a fun storyline, engaging characters and nothing more than a few kisses.
It's been a while since I've read an inspirational romance. And this one was okay. It was well-written, and the characters were engaging enough. Just - - was kind of bored...
Jill Shalvis has a knack for creating an emotional bond between the reader and the characters. I'm thankful that there are 2 more books in the Lucky Harbor series, because I really enjoyed "living there" while I read the book. :)
L - Leighton, Oliver, Earl of Norcroft, Seduction of a Proper Gentleman, Victoria Alexander
Wanted to read it prior to seeing the movie. What a well-crafted tale! Would love to start reading CATCHING FIRE, but have the remaining books still to read. Sigh. :-)

I read this for the March challenge. First Suzanne Enoch book I've read, and it was very good! So good, in fact, that I've got another of her books in my April word. Have you read her befor, or is this a first for you?

Duration: April 1-April 30
N - Nick Gautier
Desiree, I loved Sherrilyn many moons ago, but then got burned out, and honestly, the last book I read of hers was Acheron. It just fell so short for me. But I LOVE Nick's character, and understand his books are YA. Have you read any of them (I'm guessing so), and if I started with book 1, would I have missed anything by not reading any of the other DH books prior to his series? I'm thinkin' about it...would love your thoughts!

Hi Trish, I'm starting to get burned out on DH books as well, haven't stopped reading them yet but I'm slowly getting there.
Anyway, yes I have read the first two of the Chronicles of Nick series and I don't think you'll miss much if you haven't read the other books past Acheron. There are a couple things here and there in the CoN that I know were mentioned post-Seize the Night but I'm not sure if they were mentioned before or after Acheron, like who Ambrose is, but I'm 99% certain that piece is revealed in those first two books of Nick's series.
One thing I will "warn" you about is that there are some inconsistencies from what you know in the DH series to what you'll read in the CoN series but according to SK there is a reason for that and it's something that will be made clear as the series continues. That's just something to keep in mind because as I was reading the second book not knowing that the "inconsistencies" were there for a reason really hindered my enjoyment of that book because I was trying to figure out how the events/what we learned meshed with what we knew from the DH series.
I hope that helped you some. Let me know if you have any more questions. :)

Thanks, Desiree! It's been so long since I've read any DH stuff, I probably wouldn't notice what the inconsistencies are. :) I've already got my 6 books for April, so will probably start reading CoN in May. Kind of looking forward to it.

I've never read Suzanne Enoch. The book was mentioned on facebook and I downloaded it the other day. I am trying to read a new author each month-so it fits both April challeges. I am glad you liked it! Does she write her novels in series form?

I'm not sure -- I think maybe some of her later novels are series? Since she's a new author, I wanted to start with her very first published novel and move on from there. I did the same thing - downloaded from the lead on FB. Whenever I see that a potentially interesting novel is on sale for less than retail, I snap it up on my Kindle. I'm the queen of $.99 - $2.99 Kindle books, now, LOL!

Dhes - I remember being SO EXCITED for the Maiden Lane series. I loved the 4 soldiers stories so much that I read the prince stories while waiting. Wicked Intentions, for me, was also only 3*. I think it was just a bit of a shock where she went with - mmmmm - their over-the-top erotic tendencies? I don't want to give too many spoilers. There was some very erotic stuff (which was fine - I'm up for good erotica) but I don't know - - I felt kind of uncomfortable. It pushed boundaries I didn't expect and seemed out-of-place for an Elizabeth Hoyt book, I guess. Does this make sense? That being said, I liked the subsequent books much better - esp Scandalous Desires. I'd give SD 4.5*. Y'have to read WI to get the frame story for other books, though. It wasn't a "bad" book, because Hoyt is a fabulous author...just wasn't 5*. I hope this helps!
