I love love loved this book! Indeed some more books to read to tie me over until this books sequel comes out! Any suggestions?! Young love books, books with dark topics, books about besties falling in love, ANYTHING! I have read twilight, the devoured, the significance series... PLEASE!!! Suggestions!!!!

Hey. This was an amazing book, but i dont get the end. What happened there. I read it like 3 times, and it just confused me. Someone PLEASE explain it to me. (and by the way, Heart on a Chain was an AMAZING book)

If you want dark topics, have you read any of Courtney Summers? She writes quite depressing books. You Against Me is another dark one. Cross My Heart is very good with a brilliant twist, but a bit of a sloppy ending. It's not dark, but it's quite intense.

My favourite friends to lovers YA is Catching Jordan. I found it really funny but it does have quite a bit of sexual content, so for mature teenage readers.

Remi, book two is out as of yesterday... Buy Barely Breathing it will explain the ending. :)

I just read Slammed and the book after called Point of Retreat.... And holy mother of butterflied I am in love!!!!!!!!! Thank you soooooo much! I can honestly say that these are some of the best books I have ever read. Wow. Thanks you Madisyn!

I am in love with evan can anyone recommend a book that has a similar charachter to him wher e he is the hero trying to get through to a girl who suffers from an abusive life at hope pleas it will really be appreciated

Hmmmmm..... I loved The truth about Forever by Sarah Dessen. Slammed and Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover. The Summer I Turned Pretty series by Jenny Han. Significance Series by Shelly Crane. All of these have such wonderful guys in them, not all are "heros" but swoon worthy by all accounts.

Read Heart on a Chain! You will love it. Henry is (in my opinion) even better than Evan!

Read Saving June by Hannah Harrington, Wishing for someday soon by Tiffany King.
There is this book that is way different than this genre but it is SO FREAKING FANTASTIC!!! I finished it in less than 2 hours and there 305 pages...
It is: Reign of Blood by Alexia Purdy..

i think it is really good but not as good as reason to breathe and barely breathing and evan (in my opinion) better then henry (well my version of evan)

Some of my latest favs are...Grounding Quinn by Stephanie Campbell, Easy by Tammara Webber, Bound to you by Vanessa Holland, The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines(there's a second book too), My Heart for yours by Jolene Perry and Stephanie Campbell. I love the Breathing series too! Can't wait for the next one!

The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window was really, really good. I highly recommend it.

Have you read - The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay? I just finished it after Barely Breathing and love it to pieces.

The romance starts really slow so you have to stick with it. The main character is so funny I was laughing out loud, trying not to wake my husband up. Oh and it really portrays the teenage vocabulary which I didn't need to carry the emotion, but then again I didn't write it.

Catching Jordan is the best book. Literally cried over it. And I've never cried over a book in my life execpt for Reason to Breathe and Heart on a Chain.

try "Wishing for Someday Soon" by Tiffany Manning. Will leave you crying by the end.

Callum & Harper by Fisher Amelie, Beautiful Disaster, Collision Course, Effortless, Thoughtless, Clash, Crash are REALLY good :)

Cut by Patricia McCormick was very good. It's not quite along the lines of Reason to Breathe (which focuses on abuse), but it touches on some very tender subjects including family. There's no romance in it, however.

The Between the Lines Series and Easy by Tammara Weber...Delirium and Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver...Delirium is a Dystopian novel but I think it is a love story first and foremost.

The coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen.

You have to read the second one to fully understand. Otherwise you're left on a cliff hanger that doesnt make sense

I highly recommend Heart on a String by Cindy C Bennett if you want a similar read to Breatless and Reason to Breathe.

PLEASE READ HOPELESS by Colleen Hoover. its intense, her new best friend is awesome and the first kiss btwn Sky and Holder makes me soooooooooooo jealous! Plus the part where her new best friend gives her a bday gift is poignant.
