Lyrical Press Books discussion

Hi everyone,

I have also just signed with Lyrical for my Contemporary Romance, Watershed. It is the first book in a series (Love Where You Roam) of romance novels for adventuresome women, travellers and backpackers, or those who dream of leaving it all behind, leaving their comfort zone in exchange for life-changing experiences. And in those faraway places, the heroine finds love where she roams.

My family is only a month away from moving from Queensland, Australia to Michigan, USA - a big change! And my life is chaos at the moment! With all the packing and sorting and organising. I am also trying to get my social media started (Fan page and website under construction, will post when it is up and going) and working on my Pre-edits. My 4 year old asked me last night what I was doing on the computer. I told him I was working. At bedtime? He asked.
Yup.

I'd love to hear how everyone else is doing. This is my first published book so I am new to everything!

Wow, that's a heck of a move. I can't begin to imagine everything you must be going through.

Congrats on the upcoming release of "Love Where You Roam." I am a brand new author as well and just finished setting up all my social media. At least I can relate to that, LOL!

Welcome and I hope you like the U.S! I had a dear friend who lived in the Lincoln Park area of Michigan though I've never been there myself.

Hi Cd. Wow, that is a huge move. I too am a new author with LPI, my YA coming out in Nov. I live in NZ, and have travelled to Queensland a number of times. Enjoy Michigan and your new Kindle. I need one of those too. I believe I can order one with shipping free from amazon.com so I'll be onto that as soon as I can. It's unbelievable I can't buy this product locally.
