Chris Kelly (darkcell) | 11 comments I think that this list from The UK newspaper, "The Guardian" is far superior to the NPR list. It contains a number of titles that some may find objectionable, but I tend to love works that skirt the edges of genre conventions. Overall, it has a nice blend of pre-genre works, typical classics, and books that should be recognized more by Sci-fi and Fantasy readers.

Worlds Without End collects the list here: https://www.worldswithoutend.com/list...

The actual lists from the Guardian website are here:

What do y'all think?

Gavin | 13 comments I've only read about fifteen of the books on that list and found most of them disappointing.

The Guardian, as far removed from Joe Public as ever it seems.

Dale (leadsinger) | 18 comments I've read 15 of the books and seen 2 movies of others. I've never even heard of about 1/2 of the books on the list (my lifetime reading list totals over 8500).
