What are I.C.'s REAL Intentions?

The first thing you need to look at is the financial statement of the company. If you go to the website there is a PDF file with the report from 2006-2011. For this example I'm going to be using the reports from 2011. In 2011, Invisible Children made a total income of 13,765,180 dollars. Out of all that money, only 4,676,436 was made in to donations to the actual problem. This is big. If you do the number crunching, that's less than a third of total finances of Invisible Children actually going to the problem they are trying to prevent. So now you're thinking, where does all that other money go? Well, if you've ever visited the Invisible Children store, you know that they have a good amount of merchandise, so that's one thing, and the other thing is staff salaries. So some ideas are to lay off some of the workers, and cut some merchandise to get more money flowing to the actual cause. Laying off workers would be ok, since you already have over 100,000,000 people who have watched the movie and can help spread it themselves.
Another thing you need to look at is the Jason Russel meltdown. Let it be known for a fact that Russel WAS NOT under the influence at the time, and he was NOT high. He was simply exhausted. Another thing is it was shortly after the Ugandan Government released a video saying that the Kony 2012 movies gives misleading information about the country of Uganda. I don't know about you, but I would be stressed if the country I was trying to help suddenly turned it's back on me.
So what I want to point out here is YES, Joseph Kony definitely is real, but Invisible Children simply uncovered that fact to us. Although they do help, they aren't helping to the fullest possible extent. That's why I do think that I.C needs credit for the fact that they gave people the evidence that Joseph Kony is real, but they aren't a real charity.
but then I thought about those copyright thingamajigs and decided that if I did it, I'd have to do it anonymously.
