Someone from the dark side of the supernatural world has plans for Kylie--and it'll take all her resources to get back to Shadow Falls alive...

Kimi (kimisokool) I am absolutely loving this series. Learning more about each of the characters and seeing them grow, I've grown more fond of Shadow Falls. I don't feel that way many times about young adult series lately. I really like Kylie. She's a awesome teenage protagonist. Whenever I read about a teenage protagonist who is selfish, self centered, constantly annoying and rude, people make the argument that "Well, she is a teenage girl. What do you expect." But no, all teenage girls are not like that. Kylie has grown to care about her friends at Shadow Falls as they do her.

I had no idea where this story was going to lead. I thought that the mystery ghost would tie into the person who was sneaking onto the grounds. Turns out that there actually where two different mysteries going on. Considering home much Kylie was going through, she didn't go crazy. She had a ghost who wouldn't give her enough useful information, someone stalking her at Shadow Falls, and she was still trying to figure out what she was. In addition to all this, she was torn between two boys, her body was changing, she was trying to find her real fathers parents, and the crazy werewolf returns. It's a whole lot to deal with just like it was in the first book. Kylie is strong despite her young age. She handled everything relatively well.

The end was really good. I knew the rogue was involved somehow in the larger scheme. But his grandfather is something much worse. I can't wait to see how the next book plays out. Thankfully I only have to wait about a week. It will be released Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
