I'm sure that if you called the library, they would give you more information. In fact, they'd probably be happy to put you on the group's email notification list.

The library used to post the schedule of these meetings on their online Events Calendar, but I don't see it there lately. I guess they're too busy getting settled in the newly expanded library.
Below is a link to the Crandall Library's home page: ====>

On that page there are links to the Events Calendar and the Site Index.
On the Site Index page, under Informations Services, you will see a link which says:
"Book Discussion". At that Book Discussion page is a general statement which includes the words: "New members are encouraged to participate." So everyone is welcome.

There were eight of us there. It was a very interesting discussion.
Afterwards, I toured the newly expanded library. It's beautiful!

I'm not sure which room they will meet in next time. When you go into the library the night of the meeting, just ask at the desk. They're happy to show you where to go.
I hope you'll try to go next month. I'll be posting a note about the next meeting as soon as I hear from Frank, the group leader. If you want to get on his email list for the Monday Evening Book Discussion Group, just call the library and ask about it. They welcome new members.

I mentioned the meeting and the library in that message too.

The group will be discussing _The Soloist: A Lost Dream, an Unlikely Friendship, and the Redemptive Power of Music_ by Steve Lopez.
I suggest you call the library before Jan. 26 to confirm this date.
For January 2009's discussion, the Crandall Public Library Monday Evening Book Discussion Group will be reading the following book:
_The Soloist_ by Steve Lopez
