As remarked by Katie, there seems to be a consensus on Middlemarch for the first groupread.

It is quite a long read so lets spread it out over some weeks. In the gutenberg.org version, and probably in all versions, the book is divided into eight "books". Lets say we read one book every week. This way you will be able to keep up with your normal one book a week schedule and after eight weeks you will also have read middlemarch and you are one book ahead. We can adjust later on if it turns out to be too little or too much.

15-21 april Book I Chapters 1 through 10
22-28 april Book II Chapters 11 through 22
29-5 may Book III Chapters 23 through 33
6-12 may Book IV Chapters 34 through 42
13-19 may Book V Chapters 43 through 53
20-26 may Book VI Chapters 54 through 62
27-2 june Book VII Chapters 63 through 71
3-9 june Book VIII Chapters 72 through 86

That is quite a lot of chapters!!
Every week I will open a new discussion thread for the afore mentioned chapters. If you read more than the mentioned chapters please don't mention anything that might be a spoiler.
