My coauthor and I are always on the look out for bloggers willing to review or participate in blog tours. We screen blogs before giving books away for review, but guest posts and interviews are always welcome.
Our books:

I am also launching a new fantasy/paranormal series in mid-May beginning with my book Spirit Binder and it's sequel the YA, Time Walker. I was hoping to organize a blog tour to promote it as well.
You can find more info about me (and my writing, etc) over at my blog: http://www.madebymeghan.ca
I would be happy to do interviews or giveaways (especially to promote the print version of After The Virus in June), but would be also very happy with more reviews.
I can make the new novel available as an ARC at the beginning of May as well.
Thanks all!
Meghan

A close friend and I have just started a book review blog and we would love it if you came and checked us out!! We'll be accepting author requests for review! Follow, subscribe and ENJOY! :)

If you'd like to review my UF/PNR book, Morningstar, I'd be up for that or an author interview or review. I can send you a copy. :)
Morningstar

Lisa - do you have a twitter feed? I like to follow people via Twitter so I keep myself organized! I usually check out a blog and then click though to follow on Twitter... can't seem to find Twitter on your blog? Am I blind?

It's my experience that it's best practice for the authors to contact bloggers because they want their book presented in a certain way. A YA writer is not going to want their book on a blog that highlights erotica, however if a blogger is interested enough to reach out to the author, sometimes that's just as valuable because the blogger is more likely to write a good review if they're already interested than if the author contacts them out of the blue.

Possibly, and the better review sites are backlogged. There's also people who will only review paperbacks because they don't want to sit at the computer when they read and the blogs they run have the traffic that they can get away with it.
I've never tried out of the blue asking for reviews (mind you our book just launched in March). We were "trained" if you will to run promotions and blog tours to make the reviews time sensitive and part of an event. While my coauthor and I do take reviews upon request, we're more likely to accept books as part of a blog tour, especially a publicized one for a couple of reasons.
1. If it's part of a blog tour, the chance of the author promoting your blog and driving traffic to your site is higher than an unrelated review request
2. There's work that goes into blog tours. An author willing to work to put a blog tour together, have a good cover, design graphics, etc. is more likely to have spent time and money developing the book as opposed to someone who woke up one day and decided they wanted to be an author.
3. Sometimes there are incentives. When we ran our blog tour, we had gift cards that we gave away to high traffic blogs and a random commenter to encourage engagement. That also ties into 2, because if you're spending money rather than just asking for a free review, there's an assumption (at least for me) that you spent money on the book as well.

I'm not on Twitter yet. I'll post as soon as I am. Thanks for asking.

I am looking for G Rated Paranormal Romances to review. I just started this book blog today, but I have been posting daily to my weight-loss blog since last September. Have a look at my blog and please send me email if you write what I want to read. :)

My book follows a purely human protagonist who works for the government protecting the everyday world from the threats of the supernatural and protecting the supernatural from the dangers of being discovered.
Please check out my book William Codex: Knight of the Silver Sword and feel free to either private message me here or email me at Brian@WilliamCodex.com

I would very much like to connect with readers, bloggers, and reviewers. I've recently published my debut novel, Shifter In AscentShifter In Ascent and I am very excited to get it out to any bloggers and reviewers who might be interested.
Here is a little blurb:
Tessa Anderson has been dragged, wide-eyed, into the world of Shifters – beings capable of changing into wolves. Unfortunately for Tessa, her new world is fraught with danger from Shifters and human enemies alike. She finds shelter from the storm with deeply conflicted Shifter Jace Copeland, and a breathless passion is sparked – but when all the secrets come out, Tessa will have to choose whom to protect.
Please feel free to check it out and if it sounds interesting message me here on Goodreads OR shoot me an email: vivian.k.wood@gmail.com.
Thank you, everyone!

I'm new to the scene, but I have several paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and YA books just released. I've sent out a lot of queries to bloggers, but haven't had many responses. I'm just dying to give away free copies of my books and have had a giveaway here on Goodreads every week for the past month. If anyone at all is interested in reading/reviewing my books, I'd be more than happy to gift some copies or participate in any blog hops/tours/giveaways. Email me at author@cmstunich.com or message me! I'm also on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/cmstunich. Thanks for reading this and I appreciate any responses! You guys are great. =)

So if anyone out there has a blog that includes book reviews and has a theme of geek/nerd culture (particularly geek girl blogs), environmental activism, or eco-friendly living, please let me know!

I think you should tell people up front that you only provide reviews for a fee. It would be a little cleaner that way.
