Nicolle Wow, good going!

How was Interview with a Vampire? I remember I tried it when I was about 14 and just couldn't get more than a few pages in...

Sunny (travellingsunny) Anne Rice is sort of an acquired taste. My favorite - and first - book of hers was The Witching Hour. I enjoyed Interview, but her writing style is very adjectivy. Think lilac, lavender, purple, plum, deep bluish-mauve, and periwinkle...

I actually love Anne Rice and her Vampire series. She us very flowery with her writings. But it works. Interview With a Vampire is one of my most favorite books.

Congrats!!!

message 11: by Sunny (new)

Sunny (travellingsunny) Thanks. Admittedly, quite a few of these were fairly short, so it's probably not as noteworthy as the number makes it out to be. LOL!

No, the short ones o the list take up the exact same amount of space as the long ones! So really you are being smart and getting more for your readin buck by reading the short ones.

I also have read a lot of the shorter list selections because who really has time for those doorstoppers? I try to alternate list books with non-list books and may just copy you in the upcoming weeks and read all these shorties to keep myself on that goal.
